# Reply to Requester

> Send a reply back to whoever requested the task.

This reaches the requester over the task's origin channel. For a connected personal mailbox the reply is staged as a draft for the mailbox owner to review and send, rather than sent immediately. For an internal note that the requester never sees, add a [comment](/api-reference/tasks/add-comment) instead.

<Note>The requester thread is behind its own feature flag, separate from tasks. This endpoint returns `404` unless it is enabled for your organization.</Note>
