Delete a report with its columns, rows and cells.

Preview. This endpoint is available to organisations in the Wordsmith MCP pilot. Other organisations receive 403 mcp_not_enabled. See the preview overview.

Deletes a report with all its columns, rows and cells. A run in progress stops, and its operation ends as cancelled. The files behind the rows, the repository they follow, and any exported files are not deleted.

This endpoint is REST only. No MCP tool deletes a report.

Authentication

Requires an API key, or an OAuth token with reports:write. The caller also needs permission to delete the report, which in the app is the owner’s and an admin’s.

Path parameters

report_id · string · required

The report id.

Response

Returns 204 with no body.
