Read a repository, including its document count and indexing state.

Returns one repository. indexing_status tells you whether documents are still being indexed.

To list the documents themselves, use List Documents.

Authentication

Requires an API key, or an OAuth token with repositories:read.

Path parameters

repository_id · string · required

The repository id.

Response

Returns 200 with the repository.

indexing_status · string

idle once every document is indexed, indexing while any document is still waiting, failed when any document could not be indexed.

The other fields are the ones List Repositories returns.

Errors

Status	error_code	When
401	unauthorized	The API key or token is missing or invalid.
403	mcp_not_enabled	Your organisation is not in the preview.
404	resource_not_found	No repository with this id, or the caller cannot read it.
